Greeting from Orlando, FL

To the cubmaster and his Pack, I am sending a warm message from your sister pack in Orlando, Florida. I happened to start checking who has the same assigned Pack Number and you folks have suddenly sprung up. I hope over the next few months we can share some of our stories. I am impressed that your website. We are not there yet but that should happen over the summer.

My name is Steve Shuga, Cubmaster for Pack 175 at Cypress Springs Elementary School Orlando, Florida.

We started the pack with my son and myself at a school night that stirred enough interest to gain 30 boys and a few parents. We have been very aggressive meeting challenge upon challenge and have received noteworthy mentions throughout our council here.

We nearly tripled in size after our last school night and now sit with 72 boys eager to pursue the scouting adventure. Although, I am going to lose 14 5th Grade Webelos, 75% are transitioning to Boy Scouts and 8 will receive their Arrow of Light.

Along with that hard work and dedication, I was presented Cubmaster of the Year award for our district for 2000-2001. We are just rolling along.
